WeShare Education Foundation
“The WeShare Education Foundation,” established in 1993 in Yongjing Township, Changhua County, is a philanthropic organization founded by Chairman Chu Ping-Yu to carry on the compassionate legacy of his father, Mr. Chu Wenxiang. The board of directors consists of local representitives and school principals.
Future is Education
In commemoration of Mr. Chu Wenxiang’s love for his hometown and his concern for education, the WeShare Education Foundation encourages outstanding students in Yongjing Township to strive for academic excellence and supports underprivileged students in successfully completing their studies. The foundation provides various scholarships and financial assistance specifically for students residing in Yongjing Township, enabling them to pursue their dreams, unlock their potential, and gain a clearer direction in life with the foundation’s support.
Provide scholarships for graduates of seven local schools.
Scholarship for Yongjing villagers who are admitted to domestic universities.
Scholarship for Yongjing villagers who got outstanding GPA in universities.
Support youth to realize their dream.
Diverse Learning
To enhance students’ diverse learning, the foundation provides long-term sponsorship for extracurricular activities in local primary schools, junior high schools, and senior high schools in Yongjing Township. Additionally, summer camps are organized for elementary school students, offering enriched learning experiences beyond the classroom and bridging the educational gap between urban and rural areas.
We Care Our Community
In order to create a healthy life and encourage villagers to exercise more, the foundation sponsors Yongjing Township to hold New Year Marathon and Chongyang Festival activities every year and donates WeShare Park to the community to become a place for villagers to rest and exercise. In addition, during the Spring Festival, we visited the elderly in the township and distributed caring allowances and gifts. We will continue to contribute to the local community.
